Biomechanically Engineered for Orthotic Footwear
The Orthera Active orthotic insert is designed for removable insole athletic footwear. Made with the same biomechanical engineering concepts used by professional athletes, each insert helps to support your feet whether you’re running a marathon or just taking a casual walk around the block.
An integral part of choosing an athletic shoe is fit. Accordingly, Orthera Active orthotic footwear is designed to be easily integrated into any athletic shoe. They’ll not only stand up to the demands of your active lifestyle, but are designed to enhance your athletic performance.
Medical-Grade Materials
Orthera Active orthotic inserts are built on a rear-foot post which is designed to provide you with lateral support to keep you at the top of your game. Our FirmFlexTM core adds support to control overpronation. Orthera Active orthotic inserts are also fitted with a deep heel cup, which helps to minimize heel movement. Ultra soft cushioning is engineered to provide maximum shock absorption.
A slip-resistant micro suede layer keeps the insert from shifting in your shoes and an ultra-soft and shock-absorbing layer cushions your foot and helps to preserve energy. An abrasion resistant antimicrobial top cover is designed to ensure that Orthera Active has the durability to stand up to your toughest workouts.
To use the Orthera Active orthotic insert, first remove any existing insole or footbed from your shoe. Whether you’re adding them to running shoes or golf shoes, Orthera Active inserts will slide right in. Roll the outer edges of the insert and ease it into your shoe, lining it up with the heel. If your insert is too long, it can be trimmed to fit any size shoe. A properly fitting insert shouldn’t ripple at the toe and should always lay flat against the top of the sole.

Not sure whether a product is a real orthotic insert, or merely an insole? Simply use your fingers to press down in the arch area of the product. Does the product give way easily to the pressure of your fingers? This means it’s likely made of gel or foam, and not a real orthotic. Insoles provide temporary comfort, but embody none of the supportive characteristics recommended by podiatrists.
