Sizing:
We make orthotic inserts, not insoles. What matters biomechanically for your foot is the length of the FirmFlex™ core, not the overall length. The FirmFlex™ core should match foot arch length, overall length should match shoe interior to prevent moving and sliding.

All our inserts are made to a generic shoe size and need to be trimmed slightly to fit the specific shoe they are worn in. Even for the same shoe size, inside shoe dimensions vary from shoe brand to brand. To make sure our products have "enough material" to cover every shoe, we purposely make them a bit longer than the shoe size stated. If you bought them for your correct shoe size but they appear too long when trying to place them, DO NOT EXCHANGE for a smaller size. They are correct but need to be trimmed with scissors. This will not damage the performance.

Maintenance:
Wash with soap, warm water and a brush every 2 months. Air-dry overnight. Trim fray, fuzz and lint build up at bottom from time-to-time. Will last 2+ years.

Great. My arch actually makes contact.

Great product advancement!

Foot Armor 2.0 is awesome!

For 5 stars double or triple the thickness of the Poron XRD. Does not support the ball of the foot. 40 years in military and law enforcement have taken a toll on the feet and joints.

Not As Good As the its Predecessor

This is a big sacrifice for a easy-slip-in insole! This slim style makes it easier to slip in more shoes, formal or informal, boots, and sneakers, but both ends of the insoles are much thinner with less cushioning, or support. Compared to its predecessor, the Foot Armor with the red fabric on the surface, provides more comfort, and hugs my feet better, and improves stability as well as balance in my footsteps. In theory, from the descriptions, the older and the newer/slimmer style, have the same layers of protection and support, but in fact if you compare them side by side, you will see that the heel part of the older style has significantly more layers than the new one. And so does the upper section of the insole. Unless I have inadequate room inside the footwear, and would still stick with it than the newer, but much “slimmer” style. Yet, if you have limited room inside the footwear, and still want to add comfort to it, then you have to go with the newer style knowing that the loss of thickness equals less support. The latter is definitely not the ultimate support for all day, and tough terrain.
